The Blyth STEM Hub is based permanently at the Port Training Centre and hosts upwards of 2000 young people per year who access high quality STEM related educational activities. This is aimed at driving up interest in careers in the offshore energy and marine sectors.

With the input of many leading businesses from the renewables sector based in the town, the Blyth STEM Hub is intent on reducing the skills gap in offshore engineering and offering exciting career opportunities to local young people as a result.
